Gran's Chocolate Bar Pound Cake

Ingredients
2 sticks margarine
2 cups sugar
1 cup chocolate syrup
6 chocolate candy bars
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. soda
1 cup buttermilk
2 1/2 cups plain flour
Directions

Cream margarine and sugar; add chocolate syrup. Melt candy bars in double boiler; add to sugar mixture. Beat in eggs one at a time. Dissolve soda in buttermilk; add alternately with flour to the mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes or until done.
